Section 69: Kamm's - Part 1

This was the first section run of the Kamm's neighborhood.  Below is the boundary map: Map :  Run 1 ,  Run 2 ,  Run 3  (note: I ran the little section W. 141st separately) Distance This Section : 17.4 miles Distance So Far : 522.3 miles Lakewood Heights Blvd is a border road between Cleveland and Lakewood. A small section of it belongs to Cleveland but it has some notable restaurants, including  Sidetrack Tavern CLE   (which serves breakfast starting at 6am) , Kelley's Pub,  Ferris Shawarma  and, of course, the super poplar  La Plaza Taqueria  which many consider the best street tacos in Cleveland (pictured below and my post-run meal). Public art at the West Park RTA Station Mitchell Ave in full bloom. A sample of homes along Warren Road. There's lots of cool houses in Kamm's but this one stood out. Section 68: Bellaire Puritas - Part 4

  This was the fourth and final section run of the  Bellaire-Puritas  neighborhood.  Below is section map: Map :  Run 1 ,  Run 2 Distance This Section : 11.2 miles Distance So Far : 504.9 miles If you're a carnivore,  Al & B's Barbecue  (15115 Puritas Ave) makes a mean Polish Boy (pictured), the signature sandwich of Cleveland. But online reviews say just about everything here is great (especially the sauces). This branch of Metrohealth (4330 W. 150th) features 35 health care providers and a breast care center. Marc's Plaza is one of two main shopping areas in the neighborhood. Aside from Marc's, it is anchored by  Neighbors Bar & Grill  and a Happy's Pizza. West Side Hungarian Reformed Church  (15300 Puritas Ave) actually still conducts a Sunday service in Hungarian. Section 67: Bellaire-Puritas - Part 3

  This was the third section run of the  Bellaire-Puritas  neighborhood.  Below is section map: Map :  Run 1 ,  Run 2 Distance This Section : 9.1 miles Distance So Far : 493.7 miles Cafe Everest  (14304 Puritas Ave) is a Nepali restaurant which opened in 2021. It's owner,  Tarah Baraily, was born in a refugee camp in Nepal in the 1990s. At 16 years old, Baraily and his family moved to the United States, first to San Antonio, Texas, then to Cleveland. Diners receive a complimentary cup of lentil soup with their meal. Above is the Rajma Chawal (kidney beans and rice in spiced sauce) which was a post-run meal. West Park Neurology & Rehab Center  (4401 W. 150th) is a skilled nursing facility assisting those with traumatic injuries requiring long-term care and assisted living. It opened in 1990.
