This is my neighborhood and are streets I know well. Most of the neighborhood was known as West Side's Little Italy. There's a lot of new condos and apartment buildings as you head further north. Some of the city best and classic bars are here, such the Parkview Nite Club and Tina's (everyone's favorite karaoke spot). The new Garret Morgan High School is being constructed on W. 45th. The southern portion of the neighborhood connects to the commercial district of Gordon Square. Our Lady of Mount Carmel anchors the southwest end.
